The Esha Union is a young nation. It is a collection of semi-autonomous city states across the river Esha and some nearby territories. The Union has a growing secular movement as the Reverist church was complicit in the oppression of the people and the need for reclaimed technology grows. The Union faces tension on all sides as it struggles to make a new dream real.
The Union's story starts in 246pe, Agritesh the first major city is the throne of a powerful feudal Crownstate. for almost two centurys after was founded the Crownstate expanded, founding sister cities along its river. By the middle Rebuilding Era the Crownstate’s control had become to oppressive to bear. In 421pe the monarchy was overthrown and the Esha Union was formed.
As navigation of the southern sea became common the river of Esha became an exporter of produce. At the mouth of Esha a place of safe trade and port formed, the city-state Agritesh. The name comes from Agrit 'to make accord' and Esh for the river Esha. Having one of the largest watersheds, Aritesh influenced much of the southern hemisphere for centuries.
